Behind the Stitches, How We Test the HuggiBaby Gentle Lounger
We do not think "tested" should be a word you have to take on faith, so here is what it actually means for the HuggiBaby Gentle Lounger.
Every material that goes into the lounger, the cover, the filling, and the base, is tested for toxins before it is approved for production. That is not a one-time check on a single sample. It is part of how we sign off on every batch before it ships to you.
Beyond materials, we test the shape. The sides are structured to hold up under normal, repeated use, so the lounger still supports your baby the same way after a month as it did on day one. The base is built firm and flat on purpose, because a base that sinks in the middle does not do what a lounger is meant to do.
We also read every piece of feedback that comes back to us, good or critical. When we noticed a return pattern connected to base thickness, we went back to our manufacturer to work on it directly, because a pattern like that is information, not just a complaint.
None of this makes the lounger a sleep product, and we are careful never to suggest that it is. It makes it a better-built product for what it is actually meant for: safe, supervised, awake time.
If you ever have a concern about the materials or the build, email us. We read every message ourselves.
